Seeking advice on the legalization of your stay,
obtaining a residence card, or
citizenship?
Immigration law is the core of our practice. That work divides into two halves, and most of our clients sit clearly in one of them.
For individuals
Your stay, your work, your status
Residence permits and residence cards, the route from a first permit to permanent residence and citizenship, and the cases that go wrong – refusals, withdrawals, deportation and entry bans.
Residence permit for work · Studies · Spouse of a Polish citizen · Family reunification · EU long-term residence · Permanent residence · Polish citizenship · Deportation and entry bans
For companies
Legalising the employment of foreign staff
Work permits and declarations, transfers into Poland, the compliance duties that follow a hire, and representation when the labour inspectorate arrives. We are not a recruitment agency and we do not find candidates – we make the employment you have already arranged lawful, and keep it that way.
Work permits · EU Blue Card · ICT transfers · EU service providers · Other purposes of stay
Both offices handle both halves. Where a matter needs someone in the room – a hearing, an office appointment, a document collected in person – we cover Warsaw and Wrocław ourselves rather than instructing agents.
A small firm has one real advantage and we try to keep it: you deal with the lawyer doing the work, not with an account manager who relays it. Each guide on this site names the person responsible for that area, and that is the person you get.
All four are radcowie prawni – attorneys-at-law admitted in Poland, bound by professional secrecy and covered by compulsory professional indemnity insurance. Everything you tell us is privileged from the first conversation, whether or not you go on to instruct us.
Four things worth knowing before you instruct anyone – us or somebody else.
We tell you when you don’t need us
A good share of the permits employers ask us to obtain are not required at all, and we say so on the page rather than in the invoice. The same applies to individuals: if your situation already gives you the right you are asking us to obtain, that is the first thing you will hear.
We do not publish numbers we cannot stand behind
You will not find an average waiting time on this site, because no reliable one exists. Firms that quote one are guessing, and a guess about your timeline is worse than an honest “it depends on the office and it is measured in months”.
Since 2014
Since August 2014 we have advised foreign nationals and employers and handled thousands of matters – long enough to have worked through several rewrites of the Act on Foreigners and to know which parts of it move.
Clients from every continent but one
We have acted for people and companies from every continent except Antarctica. That range is not a boast so much as a practical advantage: documents, legalisation requirements and consular routes differ enormously by country of origin, and yours is unlikely to be new to us.
On fees: we quote before we start, in writing, and the quote is for the whole matter rather than an hourly rate that only becomes a number at the end. Where a case can go to appeal, we tell you what that would cost before you decide to begin.
Wherever you are
Most matters run by e-mail and online meetings. You do not need to be in Poland, or in either city, to instruct us.

Tell us what you are dealing with
A short description of your situation is enough for us to say whether you need a lawyer at all, which route applies, and what it would involve. If the answer is that you can do it yourself, we will tell you that too.
